Toro Breaks Ground on $560 Million Johns Creek Project

Toro Development Company, also known as TDC, has officially begun construction on Medley – a 43-acre mixed-use community in Johns Creek with an estimated cost of $560 million. The grand opening for this project is expected to take place on October 29, 2026.

In November of 2024, TDC secured financing for the project which includes an equity investment from Ascentris and a $158 million construction loan from Banco Inbursa specifically for the first phase.

Located at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway, Medley will feature various amenities such as retail shops, restaurants and entertainment spaces totaling to approximately 150,000 square feet. Additionally there will be a boutique hotel with around175 rooms available for guests to stay in. Office space spanning over1100 square feet will also be included along with750 multifamily residences and133 townhomes built by Empire Communities. A Plaza measuring25 ,000-square-feet is also planned within this development.

To prepare the site for groundbreaking,TDC has already demolished a350 ,000-square-foot office building . They have also successfully secured partnerships with more than25 popular brands that are set to open their doors at Medley including Sephora,HHigh Country Outfitters,and even plans fora neighborhood grocer have been announced.
