TopSide Marinas has recently expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of two marinas located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. The acquired properties include Bay Marine of Sturgeon Bay and Bay Marine of Chicago, both previously owned by Matt and Mark Felhofer. However, they will continue to operate their business, Bay Marine Yacht Sales, which will leaseback showroom and office space at both locations.
This strategic move has increased TopSide Marinas’ total number of marina properties to 10 across six states. Established in 1965 as a family-owned and operated marina spanning over 16 acres, Bay Marine of Sturgeon Bay offers a wide range of amenities including 100 wet slips, inside storage facilities covering an area measuring up to 115000 square feet along with a service shop and captain’s lounge.
On the other hand,Bay Marine Chicago was built in Waukegan,Illinois back in2016.It is situated less than one mile from Topside’s historic Larsen Marina that was established almost nine decades ago.Bay marine serves customers fromChicagoand Milwaukee markets providing them access to top-notch services such as comprehensive service operation,a spacious indoor storage facility spread over an area measuring up-to-40000 square feet,and well-equipped offices occupying approximately7000square feetof space.With this recent acquisition,Topsidemarines have further solidified their presenceinthe region while expandingtheir offerings for boating enthusiasts looking for premium quality services without any compromise on comfort or convenience.
