Assa Abloy Global Solutions, a leading manufacturer of high-security systems for locks and doors, has announced plans to relocate its North American headquarters to Plano’s Research-Technology Crossroads. The company will open its new facility in October at 2925 East Plano Parkway.
According to the Dallas Business Journal, Assa Abloy Global Solutions will be hiring 350 new employees over the next decade at their new campus. The company has leased 107,000 square feet of flexible space in the city’s renowned technology and industrial park spanning over 800 acres.
Located near prestigious institutions such as University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Instruments’ semiconductor plant, Research-Technology Crossroads is an ideal location for Assa Abloy Global Solutions. Other prominent tech companies situated nearby include Creation Technologies, Luminator Technology Group and ABB Power Electronics Inc.
