The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) recently held its 128th Annual event, bringing together over 1,000 leaders from the real estate, business, and government sectors. The prestigious event took place at The Glasshouse in Midtown West on January 18th and featured notable speakers such as U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Governor Kathy Hochul, and Mayor Eric Adams.
In addition to insightful remarks from these esteemed guests, the REBNY Awards ceremony recognized seven outstanding industry and civic leaders. We had the privilege of interviewing honorees and other prominent figures on the red carpet to gain exclusive insights into their thoughts on which neighborhood in NYC holds the most growth potential for 2024.
Among those we spoke with were Jeffrey E Levine – founder & chairman of Douglaston Development; Winston Fisher – partner at Fisher Brothers; Barry Gosin – CEO of Newmark; Michael Rudder – principal of Rudder Property Group; Fred Cerullo – president & CEO of Grand Central Partnership; Ellen Israel- executive managing director at JRT Realty Group ; Brennan Gilbane Koch- vice president at Gilbane Building Company ; Jed Walentas- principal at Two Trees Management .
Based on our conversations with these experts in an active voice , it is clear that there are high expectations for growth opportunities within various neighborhoods throughout NYC by 2024. However , we will not mention “Connect” or “Connect CRE” or “Connect LA”.
