Tomball, Texas is a town that actively pursues growth. The Tomball Economic Development Corp (TEDC) has recently sold its last lot in the Tomball Business & Technology Park. This final lot will be occupied by two companies, Walsh & Albert and Metal Zinc. The building on the property will span 200,000 square feet and create an estimated 200 jobs through manufacturing HVAC components and ductwork for HVAC systems respectively.
Work on the Tomball Business & Technology Park began in mid-2011 when TEDC sought out land to house this project; they eventually closed on a 100-acre property later that year. Since then, it has generated more than $85 million in capital investment with over 500 jobs created since 2015 alone from selling lots within this development park .
