The Tennessee Titans have officially begun construction on their new $2.1 billion stadium, which will be named Nissan Stadium. This state-of-the-art facility spans 1.8 million square feet and boasts a seating capacity of 60,000 with improved sightlines compared to the current stadium.
One unique feature of this NFL stadium is its impressive 12,000-square-foot community space, making it the first of its kind in the league. The project will be led by a team of highly experienced contractors including ICF Builders from Nashville and Polk & Associates from Brentwood.
Turner Construction Company and AECOM Hunt are also part of this alliance with over 55 years combined experience in building iconic sports facilities across the country. In fact, they have successfully completed projects for 17 out of the last 30 NFL stadiums.
With an expected completion date in 2027, construction on Nissan Stadium is estimated to create over19,000 full- and part-time jobs within three years alone. This development will also have a direct spending impact exceeding $1.9 billion as well as an overall economic impact reaching $3 billion.
