Tishman Speyer Secures $300M for Jersey City Residential Tower

Tishman Speyer has announced the commencement of construction on 55 Hudson Street, a highly anticipated development in Jersey City. The project, which received approval from the Jersey City Planning Board in late 2022, has secured a $300 million construction loan from Otera Capital.

The impressive 58-story tower will boast stunning views of New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline and will house 1,017 rental apartments. Residents will have access to an array of indoor and outdoor amenities spanning an impressive 75,000 square feet. Additionally, approximately 60,000 square feet of retail space at street level will cater to the community’s needs.

Following suit with its neighboring tower at50 Hudson Street,the upcoming development is set to offer similar amenities across its48 stories.Once completed,the projectwill feature nearly2 ,000apartmentsandover70 ,000squarefeetofretailspace.Thereisalsoa32 ,00-square-footwaterfrontplazathatwilladdtotheappealofthelocation.SituatednearNJPATH,Lightrail,andferriestoNewYork,thisdevelopmentoffersquickandeasyaccesstoLowerManhattanwithaseven-minuteboatride.
