Tishman Speyer and Harvard Break Ground on ERC

Construction has officially begun on the first phase of the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) in Boston’s Allston neighborhood. This nine-acre mixed-use development, approved by the Boston Planning and Development Agency in 2022, will feature two laboratory buildings, a 343-unit rental apartment building, a hotel, and over two acres of public outdoor space for community use.

The mass-timber David Rubenstein Treehouse will be developed by Tishman Speyer on behalf of Harvard University. Serving as a campus-wide conference facility, this innovative addition to ERC aims to foster collaboration and inclusivity through sustainable design practices and community engagement efforts.

Tishman Speyer and Harvard have joined forces to break ground on this exciting project that promises to promote innovation while prioritizing equity for all involved stakeholders. Stay tuned for updates as construction progresses at ERC!
