Tishman Speyer and Giants Launch Mission Rock MXU Tower in San Francisco

The Mission Rock development team, a partnership between the San Francisco Giants and Tishman Speyer, has commenced leasing at The Canyon – a 283-unit apartment tower with move-ins beginning in June. Boasting 58,000 square feet of office space as well as street-level retail, the 23-story property is the first of four buildings to be completed during Mission Rock’s initial phase of development.

Tishman Speyer senior managing director Carl Shannon remarked “The Canyon…is intended to cultivate a community at Mission Rock that is every bit as vibrant, innovative and inclusive as the city that surrounds it.” In addition to The Canyon’s completion nearing construction on a 13-story office tower for Visa’s Global and North American headquarters is also progressing along with work on another apartment tower and commercial building for life sciences research & development.
