Tishman Speyer Acquires Land Under New Jersey Residential Towers

Tishman Speyer has recently acquired land in Jersey City for its upcoming mixed-use development. The project will consist of two towers, located at 50 and 55 Hudson Street, and will offer a total of nearly 2,000 new apartments along with over 70,000 square feet of retail space. Additionally, the development will feature a spacious public plaza spanning over 32,000 square feet that provides direct access to Jersey City’s waterfront esplanade.

Construction is already underway for the first tower at 55 Hudson Street. This impressive structure stands tall at an impressive height of fifty-eight stories and boasts amenities such as retail spaces and resident amenities. It is expected to be completed by early-2027 with a total number of one thousand seventeen rental apartments available.

The second phase of this ambitious project includes another tower situated on the same property – this time standing forty-eight stories high – offering nine hundred twenty-four rental units along with additional retail spaces and amenities for residents’ convenience. Approved by the esteemed Jersey City Planning Board itself; these towers are strategically located near various transportation options like NJ PATH trains as well as Light Rail services which provide easy commute options to Lower Manhattan from New York via ferries.
