Timberlane Partners and The Rush Companies have successfully completed the construction of Sumner Mill, a new 162-unit apartment complex. Designed by Casey + DeChant Architects, this three-story development is situated on a 5.7-acre property at 5816 162nd Ave E in Sumner, Washington.
Sumner Mill offers a variety of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments that cater to different lifestyles. Developed on an expansive piece of land, the project comprises nine garden-style buildings located just 1.5 miles east of the Sumner Transit Station.
Groundbreaking for this project took place in fall of 2022 with residents starting to move-in at the beginning of January in year four (2024). JPMorgan Chase served as the construction lender while Northmarq helped secure nearly $49 million for funding purposes. Amenities at Sumner Mill include an outdoor pool, clubhouse with kitchen facilities , gymnasium , conference room , pool table area , package room services as well as picnic areas complete with barbecue stations .
The opening event was graced by Timberlane Partners’ CEO who expressed his excitement about bringing such high-quality housing options to this growing community without mentioning any specific names or brands associated with it . This marks another successful venture for both companies who are known experts within their respective fields.
