TikTok, a popular social media platform owned by Beijing-based technology company ByteDance, has recently acquired new office space in Bellevue as part of its continued expansion in the Seattle area. The company will occupy seven floors totaling over 150,000 square feet at Lincoln Square North Tower. This additional space adds to TikTok’s existing 132,000 square feet across six floors in the same building. These offices were previously occupied by Microsoft before they relocated their employees to their Redmond headquarters last year.
The move comes as other companies such as Pokémon Co. International and Shein also look to expand their presence in Bellevue. With this latest development, TikTok joins a growing list of businesses choosing to establish themselves within this thriving city just outside of Seattle.
