Tidal Real Estate Partners Secures $181.8M Loan for Nashville Hotel Development

Tidal Real Estate Partners has secured a $181.8 million construction loan to develop a new 16-story hotel in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood. The loan was provided by Lionheart Strategic Management.

The hotel will be constructed on two adjacent sites located at 1213 Grundy Street and 114 George L. Davis Boulevard, situated behind the Whole Foods Market on Broadway. Tidal acquired the land in 2021 for $29.25 million. The planned development includes 300 hotel rooms along with ground-floor retail and restaurant space. Earl Swensson Associates is serving as the project’s architect.

The hotel site is located less than a block from another development by Tidal—a 28-story Marriott Edition Hotel at 1110 Porter Street. That project will feature 84 condominiums, offering one- to four-bedroom units, with the upper 15 floors of the tower dedicated to residential space. Construction on the Edition project is expected to begin this summer.
