St. Augustine Outlets, like many malls across the US, were forced to close during the Covid pandemic. As a result, mall owners had to devise plans for repurposing their now-vacant spaces. Thompson Thrift is taking action by developing Terrassa, a multifamily community as part of the revitalization of the former St. Augustine retail center located off I-95.
Terrassa will offer 324 modern apartment homes ranging from one to three bedrooms and up to nearly 1,400 square feet in size. Residents will have easy access to nearby beaches and a variety of local entertainment options including shopping and dining.
The community will boast top-notch amenities such as a fully equipped fitness center open 24/7, an inviting resort-style swimming pool surrounded by beautiful courtyards perfect for relaxation or socializing with neighbors. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy grilling areas and even play pickleball on-site while pet owners can take advantage of the dog park and pet spa complete with grooming station.
In addition to these features, residents can also utilize the convenient 24-hour social hub which includes billiards tables for friendly competition along with a coffee bar ideal for catching up with friends or getting some work done in private focus rooms equipped with printing stations.
Construction is set to begin in July with completion expected in fall 2026.
