Ability Housing, a nonprofit developer of affordable multifamily housing, has appointed Thomas J. Daly, Jr. as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With over two decades of experience in housing finance and legal services under his belt, Daly will be responsible for managing the organization’s business operations across various regions in Florida.
Prior to joining Ability Housing, Daly served as the City of Jacksonville’s Chief of the Housing and Community Development Division where he was instrumental in developing more than 1,400 rental units within urban areas during his tenure. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University; Master’s Degree with concentration on Public Finance from Indiana University; Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School Law; Certified Professional status through National Development Council and is an active member at both Jacksonville Bar Association & American Bar Association respectively.
