**Forward Air Renews Long-Term Lease at Union City Manufacturing Facility**
Cushman & Wakefield has successfully arranged a long-term lease renewal for Forward Air at 30108-30118 Eigenbrodt Way, a 234,559-square-foot manufacturing facility located in the Alvarado Business Center in Union City, California. Forward Air, a single-source third-party logistics (3PL) provider, will continue occupying 135,860 square feet of the facility, where it has operated since 2018.
The tenant was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Kate Woodcox, Rory Murray, Nicholas Bruha, and Rusty Smith.
“Forward Air has signed nearly 500,000 square feet in lease renewals within the 880 Corridor over the past six months,” said Kate Woodcox. “This substantial renewal activity represents a long-term confidence and optimism in the Bay Area industrial market that we are seeing from 3PL businesses across the board.”
The Eigenbrodt Way property offers several key features advantageous to manufacturing and distribution tenants, including 20 dock-high doors, four grade-level doors, a parking ratio of 1 per 1,000 square feet, and a warehouse clear height of 30 feet.
This lease renewal underscores the continued strength of the industrial market in the Bay Area, particularly among logistics and distribution firms.
