The Nox, a new large-scale live music and entertainment venue, is taking shape in southeast Mesa, Arizona, with plans to open in late 2027. Positioned as a year-round destination for the Southeast Valley, the project is designed to host a range of programming, including concerts, comedy shows, festivals, dinner theater and corporate events. The venue is under construction near the intersection of Ray and Power roads.
The planned development will span 70,000 square feet and is being designed to evoke the look and feel of a Chicago warehouse, with an emphasis on brick, iron and arched architectural elements. A key focus for the project is acoustics, reflecting its primary role as a live performance environment. The scale and design of the building are intended to accommodate a variety of event formats while maintaining performance quality for both artists and audiences.
The venue will include a modular concert hall that can be adjusted for different types of events and audience sizes, a recording studio and flexible event space. These components are intended to support concerts and comedy programming and offer adaptability for a wide range of uses. With a capacity of up to 2,000 people, The Nox is planned to serve the growing East Valley and provide an alternative to traveling longer distances for major entertainment options.
The project is being developed by the Bongiorno family in partnership with Streamline Cos. The planned program extends beyond general admission attendees to include a mezzanine-level VIP lounge, which will feature a private bar and dedicated seating. Across the venue, plans call for numerous food and beverage options to support event operations and enhance the on-site experience for guests.
By concentrating performance, event and hospitality functions in a single location, The Nox is expected to operate as a multiuse entertainment hub for the Southeast Valley. Its location in southeast Mesa and proximity to Ray and Power roads positions the project to draw from surrounding neighborhoods as well as the broader East Valley area when it opens in late 2027.
