The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative, also known as The Goldie Initiative, is a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing women for leadership roles in the commercial real estate industry. Since its establishment in 2007, it has primarily focused on the Midwest region.
In November 2023, CEO Megan Abraham visited New York City to support and connect with alumni of The Goldie Initiative and engage potential mentors for its expansion into the Northeastern United States. An event was held featuring a panel discussion with accomplished female leaders in real estate.
With a goal of providing resources and opportunities for women to excel in commercial real estate, The Goldie Initiative plans to launch its next phase of expansion into the Northeast region by 2024.
