The Allen Development Adds $12 Million Parking Garage
DC Partners, known for its luxury residential offerings at The Allen in Houston, is turning its attention to enhancing the convenience for retail patrons. The developer has announced plans to construct a $12 million parking garage to support the growing number of retail users at the mixed-use development along Allen Parkway.
The new garage will be a 502-space precast structure located at 1729 Allen Parkway. The 172,350-square-foot facility is slated to break ground in November and is expected to be completed by September 2026. Kirksey Architecture has been tapped to design the garage.
The Allen is already home to the Allen Lifestyle Pavilion, a 62,128-square-foot, four-story retail and restaurant destination that was completed in 2022. This new garage aims to complement the broader vision of the development, making it more accessible and attractive to shoppers and diners.
The overall project, with a total investment of $500 million, is anchored by The Residences at The Allen. This 35-story, $290 million tower features a 170-room Thompson Hotel occupying the first 15 floors and 99 condominium residences above.
By expanding its infrastructure, DC Partners continues to reinforce The Allen as one of Houston’s premier live-work-play destinations.
