According to a recent review by Yardi Matrix, Texas is leading the nation in the Build-to-Rent sector. With over 21,812 units currently in development across its largest metros, Texas has the highest number of single-family rentals in progress.
Once completed, these new rental homes will increase Texas’ build-to-rent inventory by an impressive 70%. To put this into perspective, Arizona and Florida are also seeing growth with nearly 14,000 units under development each. However, they still fall behind Texas as the top state for BTR growth.
