#### **Endeavor Real Estate Group Acquires JMI Realty’s Hospitality Development Team**
Austin-based real estate firms Endeavor Real Estate Group Ltd. (Endeavor) and JMI Realty Inc. (JMIR) have announced that Endeavor has acquired JMIR’s hospitality development team. As a result, Endeavor is formally establishing a hotel acquisition, development, and construction management platform in Austin, Texas. JMIR will continue focusing on acquiring existing hotels and managing its current portfolio as an owner, investor, and asset manager.

As part of this transaction, Endeavor has appointed JMIR President Gregory W. Clay as Managing Principal, Hospitality Acquisitions & Development. Additionally, JMIR Senior Vice President of Construction Jim Chatfield will serve as Endeavor’s Principal, Director of Construction – Hospitality, and JMIR Associate Project Manager and FF&E Coordinator Megan Kaforey will continue in the same role with Endeavor.

#### **Northmarq Arranges $15.2 Million Refinance for The Harrison Grant Apartments**
Northmarq’s Debt + Equity platform has secured a $15.2 million refinancing deal for The Harrison Grant Apartments in Balcones Heights, Texas. The 327-unit multifamily community was originally built in 1974 and underwent renovations in 2021. Northmarq provided a non-recourse, 10-year fixed-rate loan with 120 months of interest-only payments.

#### **New Dick’s House of Sport to Replace Former Sears at Stonebriar Centre**
The former Sears location at Frisco’s Stonebriar Centre will be transformed into a Dick’s House of Sport. Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. acquired the vacant department store space in late 2024. The company plans to open 15 House of Sport locations in 2025, with an ultimate goal of 75 to 100 locations by 2027. The new concept integrates game-like competitive experiences into the store, including indoor climbing walls, golf fitting bays with simulation booths, batting cages, and play areas for various sports such as softball, baseball, lacrosse, and soccer.

#### **Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Partner to Combat Childhood Cancer**
Texas Children’s Hospital and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center have entered into a joint venture aimed at ending childhood cancer. The partnership will establish a joint pediatric oncology program, with over 200 Texas Children’s Hospital oncologists and 100 MD Anderson pediatric clinicians forming the care team. The initiative is set to launch in early 2026. Details regarding facility plans have yet to be disclosed.
