Tejon Ranch Co. has announced the commencement of construction on a new distribution center for Nestlé USA, Inc., the world’s largest food and beverage company. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning over 700,000 square feet and situated on approximately 58 acres at Tejon Ranch Commerce Center (TRCC), will serve as a fully automated hub for Nestlé’s ambient portfolio with room for future growth.
The project is expected to be completed by 2025 with operations beginning in 2026. According to Derek C. Abbott, EVP of real estate at Tejon Ranch Co., this decision by Nestlé further solidifies TRCC’s reputation as a premier commercial/industrial center that has attracted major companies such as IKEA, Dollar General, Famous Footwear,Caterpillar,Camping World,and L’Oréal.
