Target to Open New Store in Dripping Springs
Property Commerce has sold a 10-acre parcel in its Dripping Springs retail development, The Village at Dripping Springs, to Target. The national retailer plans to construct a 145,000-square-foot store on the site, located at 13550 W. U.S. Highway 290.
Construction is expected to begin before the summer, with the store projected to open in 2028.
The Village at Dripping Springs spans 26 acres and currently offers more than 19,000 square feet of available retail space. Additionally, there are four pad sites along U.S. Highway 290 totaling approximately five acres.
Once completed, the store will expand Target’s presence in Hays County, where it currently operates three locations along or near Interstate 35. The nearest Target to Dripping Springs is currently about 15 miles away, in areas such as Southwest Austin and Bee Cave.
