"Tampa's Tallest Tower Spun Off by PGIM"

PGIM Real Estate has recently completed the sale of 100 North Tampa, a 572,111-square-foot commercial property. According to Commercial Edge reports, this asset was last traded in June 2007 when PGIM Real Estate acquired it from AIG Global Real Estate for $151.9 million.

The tower was constructed in 1992 and at the time of sale, it had an occupancy rate of 83%. Notable tenants include Foley & Lardner, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Cushman & Wakefield.

Originally known as the Regions Building and later renamed as AmSouth Building before its current name change to simply “100 North Tampa”, this impressive high-rise was designed by HKS Inc. In recent years it underwent cosmetic renovations in addition to a $21 million upgrade that included modernizing its lobby area and tenant lounge along with updates made to conference rooms and fitness facilities.

Among other amenities offered at this property are a bank branch office as well as convenience stores for sundry items or dry cleaning services – all conveniently located within some retail space measuring approximately eleven thousand square feet. The seller’s side representation during negotiations were handled by Hermen Rodriguez who led his team from JLL while also successfully securing the buyer’s interest.
