Tampa Midrise Rental Community Sells for $61M

Blaze Capital Partners has recently acquired a five-story, midrise apartment complex in Ybor City for $61 million. The property, located at 2409 E 2nd Ave, consists of 254 units and was opened in 2021. The original developer of the project was Milhaus and it cost $53 million to develop. Fifth Third Bank provided a mortgage worth $38 million for the acquisition.

According to Blaze Capital Partners, their capital market strategies include asset-level joint ventures, programmatic separate accounts, club ventures and funds tailored towards institutional investors as well as family offices and high-net-worth individuals.

On its website,Milhaus states that they specialize in development, construction management,and investment services.The Tampa Bay Business Journal reported on this transaction but did not mention any specific company names or brands involved.
