Swinerton, a national industry-leading commercial construction and construction management services firm, has appointed Nick Vovakes as Vice President and Division Manager of its Seattle office. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Vovakes is well-equipped to lead Seattle’s growing operations. His predecessor Dave Worley is set to retire in October after 21 years with Swinerton.
Vovakes was most recently Operations Manager at Swinerton since joining the company in 2011. During this time he has been instrumental in increasing their healthcare footprint while providing leadership to expand existing target markets within Seattle.
Vovakes states “We will focus on smart organic growth so we don’t lose that touch of family atmosphere but can branch off into diversified markets for a nice portfolio of work.” Under his leadership, the office looks forward to continuing its momentum with mass timber while also expanding presence within healthcare market and entering life sciences sector too
