Sunrise Senior Living has recently taken over management of Battery Park, a high-rise independent living community in Lower Manhattan. This 217-unit facility, located at 455 North End Ave near One World Trade Center, is the third luxury property in Manhattan to be managed by Sunrise and is owned by healthcare REIT Ventas Inc.
CEO Jack R. Callison Jr expressed his gratitude for being chosen as the new manager for this prestigious community and stated that it will cater specifically to Manhattan residents seeking a vibrant lifestyle that promotes longer, healthier and happier lives.
With Sunrise now at the helm of management, plans are underway to enhance the community’s offerings for both current and future residents as well as team members. Extensive renovations are planned for infrastructure improvements and common areas with an emphasis on modernizing HVAC systems to meet LEED building standards while also promoting efficiency and sustainability.
