Suncrest has built 24 master-planned communities, but none have been build-to-rent (BTR) projects. Phoenix is considered a hub of the BTR sector and Suncrest is now entering this market. The company has created the Zora Living Brand for its rental home communities with two more on the way. According to Phoenix Business Journal, their first one will be named Zora Encanto – a $33 million development featuring 109 single family rental homes with amenities such as a pool, cabana and fitness center; some even boasting backyards up to 1,500 square feet in size with turf. Preleasing for these homes began recently at an average monthly rent of $1,950 for one or two bedrooms units respectively.
