Sunbelt Investment Holdings has proposed an expansive new development in Buckeye, Arizona, that would transform a 160-acre site into a dynamic mixed-use community. The project is set to include multifamily and single-family residential units, retail spaces, and a business park.

Recently, the Buckeye Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of a rezoning request submitted by the developer for the property located at the southwest corner of Verrado Way and Yuma Road. In addition to this, Sunbelt is pursuing annexation of the parcel from Maricopa County into the city of Buckeye.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the rezoning and annexation are anticipated to go before the Buckeye City Council for final approval in April. If approved, the development will include a 14-acre area designated for commercial use, a 46-acre business park, and 33 acres dedicated to multifamily housing.

This project marks another major investment in the Valley by Sunbelt Investment Holdings, underscoring the firm’s ongoing commitment to fostering growth and economic development in the region.
