**Sugar Land Town Square Slated for $12.5M Facelift**

The Sugar Land Development Corporation, in partnership with Sugar Land 4B, has committed $12.5 million in funding to update and enhance Sugar Land Town Square. The investment will be used to renovate two commercial buildings and improve property-wide office spaces, with the goal of attracting more businesses, residents, and visitors to the area.

Planned improvements include:

– $4.5 million for tenant improvements across property-wide office spaces.
– $6 million allocated to Building B for the addition of communal office spaces, upgraded landscaping, and enhanced streetscapes.
– $2 million dedicated to Building H for entry, lobby, and signage renovations, garden area enhancements, and new furniture.

Originally opened in 2003, Sugar Land Town Square is a mixed-use walking district and lifestyle destination situated at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Highway 6. The area encompasses 223,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, 566,000 square feet of Class A office space, 167 condominiums, a full-service Marriott Hotel with conference center, and Sugar Land City Hall. The development is anchored by a central plaza that serves as a community hub, hosting concerts, festivals, performances, and seasonal events that draw thousands of attendees.

The revitalization project aims to maintain the vibrancy and relevance of Sugar Land Town Square as a premier destination in the region.
