“Suffolk Construction Giant Launches First DC Office”

"Suffolk Construction Giant Launches First DC Office"

Suffolk, a leading construction company based in Boston, has recently established its inaugural office in the Washington D.C. area to capitalize on the region’s growing data center market. The new location, situated on Dulles Station Boulevard in Herndon, Virginia and headed by Suffolk’s national COO of mission critical Charles McCarthy, will cater to various sectors such as mission-critical projects and federal government initiatives. Additionally, with Virginia expanding its casino locations there is potential for growth within this sector.

With an impressive track record of delivering over 50 data center campuses across 30 states and currently managing seven active projects within the region (with more in pre-construction), Suffolk is well-positioned to meet the demands of this developing market. In a statement released by McCarthy he stated that “Suffolk is renowned for our extensive experience handling complex and sophisticated data center and government projects nationwide; making Virginia an important hub for these types of developments.”
