Subtext Breaks Ground on Indiana Student Housing Development

Subtext, a national real estate company, has launched its second property at Purdue University. The firm recently hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for a 245,700-square-foot student living project in downtown West Lafayette, Indiana in partnership with Brinkmann Constructors.

The new development is strategically located just outside the southeastern end of campus and will offer 143 units and 449 beds. These units include studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom options on a spacious 1.43-acre site with ample parking space for residents.

As Purdue continues to experience record enrollment numbers reaching over 52,000 students this year alone – marking their ninth consecutive record high – Subtext recognized the need for additional student housing options near campus.

Designed by ESG Architecture and Design from Minneapolis,the building boasts more than15 ,000 square feet of amenities focused on promoting student well-being. This includes modern features such as a coffee bar , club room , study rooms,and fitness center . With its prime location and top-notch amenities,this new development is set to become an ideal home away from home for students at Purdue University.
