Street "Capital One Moves San Francisco Offices to 100 California Street: A Strategic Relocation"

Capital One Financial Corp. has announced plans to relocate its San Francisco offices to 100 California St., a move that will see the company commit to 40,000 square feet at the property. The new space, which is approximately one-third of its current occupancy at 201 3rd St., will provide Capital One with a prime location in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district.

The relocation was facilitated by JLL’s team of senior managing directors Matt Shewey and Ted Davies, along with VP Carlye Parker who represented building owner Pembroke. According to reports from the San Francisco Business Times, this move involves both a direct lease agreement with Pembroke and a sublease from cleantech company Stem.

JLL is also working closely with Pembroke on further improvements for their upgrade program at 100 California. These upgrades include revitalizing and renovating the façade of the podium building, creating an enhanced restaurant identity and adding dedicated outdoor seating areas for tenants’ use. Additionally, JLL is collaborating with Pembroke in securing a new restaurant operator for their spacious 6,000-square-foot area.

In addition to these enhancements, Capital One employees can look forward to new fitness facilities being added as well as access to flexible conference center spaces designed specifically for collaboration purposes within tenant groups.

This announcement marks yet another milestone in Connect CRE’s ongoing coverage of major developments within commercial real estate markets across North America.
