Berkeley Investments’ 64 Pleasant St. development in Watertown, MA has secured a new tenant, Culture Pop Soda. The functional soda brand will be leasing over 6,000 square feet of space at the building. This is in addition to current tenant Via Separations, a clean tech startup that occupies more than 50,000 square feet of Class A lab space.
According to Dan McGrath, SVP and director of asset management at Berkeley Investments: “Culture Pop Soda is an excellent fit for our building as it complements the other lab and life sciences companies we have here.” He also noted that their focus on clean living aligns with the company’s values and makes them an ideal addition to the community at 64 Pleasant.
JLL’s Nat Kessler and Sam Crossan represented Culture Pop Soda in this lease agreement while Berkeley was represented by Newmark’s Dan Krysiak,Dave Townsend,Juliette Reiter,and Catie Tilton.
Located along the Charles River in Watertown,Ma.,64 Pleasant has been chosen by Gov.Maura Healey as her headquarters for promoting her climate tech initiative investment worth $1.3 billion.This further highlights its appeal as a hub for innovative companies like Via Separations.
