The Quad, formerly known as The Quadrangle when it first opened in 1966, has been revitalized and is now ready for business. Located in Uptown Dallas, this mixed-use development underwent a major renovation that included the addition of a new office tower and various restaurants and retail spaces.
Stream Realty took on the project after acquiring the complex in 2019. Construction began in 2022 with financing from a $181 million loan provided by MSD Capital according to CommercialEdge data.
Situated at 2699 Howell St., The Quad now boasts a modern 12-story office tower spanning over 345,425 square feet. It also features five standalone retail buildings, an “urban lawn,” and The Quad Club – a luxurious penthouse amenity center complete with full-service bar, lounge area, conference center,and rooftop terrace. Additionally,the property will house seven on-site eateries set to open this fall.
OMNIPLAN served as the project architect while Austin Commercial was responsible for construction management.Stream’s development team consisted of Ramsey March,Bard Dornak,Jerry Mays,and Blake Bell.The recent completion marks another successful venture for Stream Realty showcased through their work on The Quad.
