Clayco, a comprehensive real estate, architecture, engineering, design-build and construction company has appointed business leader Michael Fassnacht as the new president of its Chicagoland division. In addition to this role, Fassnacht will also serve as the company’s first chief growth officer. He will be responsible for overseeing all operations in the Chicagoland region including business development, marketing and sales.
Originally from Germany with nearly two decades of experience in Chicago under his belt – first as CEO of global advertising firm Foote Cone & Belding (FCB) and most recently as Chief Marketing Officer for the City of Chicago and CEO of World Business Chicago – Fassnacht brings a wealth of expertise to Clayco.
Fassnacht began his career at Lufthansa Airlines before venturing into Silicon Valley where he founded a successful marketing tech firm in early 2000s. He relocated to Chicago in 2006 where he led an impressive tenure at FCB that saw revenue exceed market growth for ten consecutive years.
