Stonepeak Unveils Cold Chain Logistics Platform Serving Asia Pacific

**Stonepeak Launches Peregrine Cold Logistics to Serve Asia-Pacific and GCC Regions**

New York-based alternative investment firm Stonepeak has officially launched Peregrine Cold Logistics, a cold chain logistics platform designed to meet the rising demand for temperature-controlled infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regions.

Headquartered in Singapore, Peregrine aims to provide high-quality cold storage capacity and complementary logistics solutions to support the distribution of perishable and temperature-sensitive goods. The platform will focus on key regional markets to address growing supply chain needs driven by increasing consumer demand for fresh and frozen products.

Peregrine’s strategy includes acquiring existing cold chain businesses as well as developing new greenfield and brownfield facilities. As part of its initial investments, the company has agreed to acquire its first seed asset—Pinnacle Cold Storage Inc., a cold storage operation based in the Philippines.

“With the cold storage industry landscape across much of Asia still highly fragmented, we believe there is an opportunity to build a specialist platform of scale to serve the growing needs of the region,” said Michael Chan, Managing Director at Stonepeak.

Peregrine Cold Logistics marks a strategic expansion for Stonepeak as it strengthens its presence in emerging infrastructure markets and supports the modernization of regional cold supply chains.
