Stockdale Campus at Horton MXU Expands with New Residential Addition

Stockdale Capital Partners has announced plans to begin construction on a 40-story, 518-unit apartment tower at its Campus at Horton mixed-use development in San Diego. The project is set to break ground in 2025 and will also include a second 40-story tower with an additional 332 units on G Street. These two towers will bring a total of 850 new housing units to the city.

The first tower will feature ground-floor retail space, seven floors of parking with over six hundred spaces, and the remaining upper floors dedicated to residential living. Currently in the design phase, this project is expected to be ready for construction by mid-2025 and completed by late-2027.

According to Daniel Michaels, managing partner of Stockdale Capital Partners based out of Los Angeles: “We are committed to creating a unique mixed-use experience at Campus at Horton.” He goes on further stating that their investment into this asset for Downtown San Diego includes adding these two new residential towers.

As one of San Diego’s largest mixed-use developments, Campus at Horton has already secured several retail tenants and continues negotiations with potential office and life science tenants as well. This latest addition marks another step towards making this development an integral part of Downtown San Diego’s future growth.
