A new development is in the works for Mansfield, as Stillwater Capital Investments and the City of Mansfield have joined forces to plan a 210-acre project. The latest renderings and timelines have been released by Stillwater, showcasing their vision for this ambitious venture. Situated next to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center on East Broad Street between State Highway 360 and U.S. Route 287, this project is expected to cost over $1 billion.
The expansive development will feature a variety of amenities such as a half-mile canal loop, boardwalk plaza, and a six-acre lake. At its core will be the new City Hall surrounded by an array of offerings including hotels, restaurants, retail stores,and entertainment spaces.
While designs are still being finalized for both commercial and residential areas along with the City Hall building itself,the construction timeline has been set with work scheduled to begin in late 2025.The phased openings are planned for early-2027 onwards.
This public-private partnership involves an initial investment exceeding $300 million from both parties which they hope will create numerous job opportunities while also giving an economic boost to the local community.
