A new development is in the works for Stillwater Capital Investments and the City of Mansfield. The 210-acre project, located near Methodist Mansfield Medical Center on East Broad Street, will feature a half-mile canal loop, boardwalk plaza, and a 6-acre lake. Renderings and timelines have been released by Stillwater for this ambitious venture which is estimated to cost over $1 billion.
The centerpiece of the development will be a new City Hall surrounded by amenities such as hotels, restaurants, stores and entertainment spaces. Plans are still being finalized for both commercial and residential areas within the project. Construction is set to begin in late 2025 with phased openings starting in 2027.
