A new development is in the works as Stillwater Capital Investments and the City of Mansfield collaborate on a 210-acre project. Recently, Stillwater unveiled updated designs and timelines for this venture. Situated near Methodist Mansfield Medical Center on East Broad Street, between State Highway 360 and U.S. Route 287, the estimated cost of this project exceeds $1 billion.
The development will feature a half-mile canal loop, boardwalk plaza, and a six-acre lake to enhance its appeal. The centerpiece will be a new City Hall surrounded by amenities such as hotels, restaurants, retail stores,and entertainment spaces.
While plans are still being finalized for both commercial and residential areas along with the City Hall building itself,the construction process is set to commence in Q3 of 2025 with phased openings beginning in 2027.The city’s partnership with Stillwater involves an initial investment exceeding $300 million that aims to create numerous job opportunities while also boosting local economic growth.
