**Stellar Communities to Launch $72M Townhome Project on Former Rockledge Airport Site**
Stellar Communities has announced the acquisition of a 22-acre land assemblage that includes the former Rockledge Airport, along with an FBO (Fixed Base Operator), hangars, and airport rights. The firm plans to redevelop the site into a $72 million townhome community named *The Stellar at Space Coast*.
Construction is expected to begin this summer at 3773 Flypark Drive in Rockledge, Florida. Upon completion, the community will feature 201 townhomes ranging in size from 1,400 to 2,000 square feet. Buyers can choose from two- to four-bedroom layouts, each with private backyards.
The development sits in the heart of Florida’s booming Space Coast region, which is home to major aerospace employers including NASA, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin. Residents will also have convenient access to major attractions in Orlando, Daytona Beach, and Cape Canaveral.
Stellar Communities continues to expand its footprint in the region. In December 2024, the company broke ground on Havens at Palm Bay Reserve, a 266-unit luxury residential development located in Palm Bay, Florida.
