SteelPoint, a leading industrial construction company, is set to build a state-of-the-art 100,000-square-foot production facility on an adjacent parcel to their existing location on Beltway Boulevard in Stallings. The new facility is slated for completion by late 2024.
With its current workforce of 89 employees in Union County, SteelPoint will also be creating an additional 25 jobs with competitive hourly wages averaging at $25 as part of this expansion.
This exciting news follows the recent approval of incentives for the project by the Union County Board of Commissioners earlier this month. The board has granted up to $822,500 over five years towards supporting SteelPoint’s expansion plans.
