Lake Washington Partners has announced that Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has signed a lease at Axis9, a modern office tower located at 1800 9th Avenue in Seattle’s Denny Triangle.

Stantec will occupy 10,953 square feet—approximately half a floor—in the former Amazon office building. The leased space is currently being customized to meet Stantec’s programmatic and operational needs, with move-in expected in the first quarter of 2026.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Stantec as a tenant at Axis9,” said Jordan Lott, CEO and President of Lake Washington Partners. “This lease sets the tone for the high-quality, forward-thinking community we’re building at Axis9 and is another sign of increased interest in downtown Seattle offices.”

Stantec emphasized the strategic nature of the lease. “This transaction, this building, and this space demonstrate Stantec’s commitment to sustainable design and efficiently consolidate our downtown offices into one central location,” said Jennifer Linton, Senior Real Estate Manager for Stantec’s Corporate Real Estate Team.
