Spartan Investment Group, based in Colorado, has acquired Lafayette Parkway Self Storage in LaGrange, GA. This marks the firm’s first self-storage fund launch last year – Spartan Storage Fund 1. The property will transition to FreeUp Storage LaGrange under the national banner that Spartan manages its 65-property portfolio with 14 of them located in Georgia.
The 469-unit facility is situated at 1385 Lafayette Parkway and encompasses 19 buildings spanning nearly 80,000 square feet. Ryan Gibson – Chief Investment Officer at Spartan Investment Group – commented on this acquisition: “We prioritize strong acquisition opportunities for our investors through rigorous due diligence checks and this facility passed all criteria for us to move forward with it.” He added “LaGrange area shows strong population growth potential which makes us believe that demand will continue to increase over time.” This allows them bring economies of scale into play when necessary as well as provide a great opportunity for their investors going forward.
