Construction has officially commenced on a new apartment development in South Hill, just south of Puyallup. This joint venture between Corliss Management Group and Schuur Brothers Construction is the initial phase of multifamily development within the nearly 1,500-acre Sunrise master-planned community. The project consists of five buildings with 120 units and sets the stage for an additional 400 units to begin construction next year. When fully complete, this masterplan community will feature 4,728 single-family and multifamily residences across 900 total units.
In addition to residential developments, a 10-pad commercial development is also planned with 18,000 square feet allocated for retail use as well as 45,000 square feet dedicated to office or retail space; 6,000 square feet are designated for a sit down restaurant while another 6k sqft will be used by two quick serve restaurants. Jerome O’Leary of Kidder Mathews serves as leasing agent for this retail area within the project’s scope .
