South Florida Apartments Converting to Condos

A newly completed apartment complex in Dania Beach is now available for sale as condominiums. The Atlantica apartments were acquired by S2 Development for $36.75 million from Prestige Cos., who sold the ground lease of the 124-unit rental community at 610 N.E. Second Street.

According to reports from the South Florida Business Journal, CRE Lendco facilitated a loan of $30 million for the buyer, with each unit priced at approximately $300,000.

The complex sits on a 4.7-acre land lease owned by East Side Five LLC and is situated just east of the Casino at Dania Beach Jai-Alai.

In early 2023, Prestige Cos.began construction on Atlantica which consists of six three-story apartment buildings and a clubhouse featuring amenities such as a gym and pool. Additionally, there are ample parking spaces totaling to 237 spots.

With floor plans ranging from one bedroom units measuring at least 703 square feet to two-bedroom units plus den measuring up to1 ,159 square feet in size,the post highlights that these South Florida apartments will soon be converted into desirable condos.
