Construction is nearing completion on Citrino, a 47-unit solar-powered multifamily community located at 6916 Fulton St. in San Diego’s Linda Vista neighborhood. The project, owned by 6916 Fulton St. LLC and now managed by Sunrise Management based in San Diego, is currently pre-leasing.
According to Theresa Cordero, president of Sunrise Management with over four decades of experience managing multifamily properties, Citrino replaces outdated housing from the 1940s and contributes to the ongoing revitalization of Linda Vista which was originally built for aircraft workers during World War II.
The name “Citrino” comes from the bright yellow mineral known for its associations with vitality and new beginnings. As Cordero explains, this name captures the essence of Linda Vista’s transformation as Citrino symbolizes a fresh start that will continue to revitalize the surrounding neighborhood.
