Willamette Valley-based SMI Property Management has recently merged with Portland-based JPM Real Estate Services, expanding its industry-leading services into the greater Portland area. This merger brings over 2,100 units under SMI’s management portfolio and increases their total number of multifamily units to over 5,400. In addition to these residential properties, SMI also manages approximately 50 commercial office and retail spaces in the mid-Willamette Valley.
The merger has resulted in an increase of approximately 60 employees for SMI Property Management, bringing their total employee count to around 160. These employees include portfolio managers, apartment community managers, and maintenance teams who will continue providing exceptional service to all properties previously managed by JPM.
