SL Green Realty Corp. has recently signed a new lease for 54,250 square feet of space at their property located at 1185 Ave. of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan. The lease, which covers the entire 24th and 25th floors, is for a term of 12 years and was secured by Hartree Partners with representation from CBRE’s Ben Friedland, Munish Viralam and Gary Davies.
According to Steven Durels, EVP and director of leasing and real property at SL Green: “We are thrilled that Hartree Partners has chosen to make our building their headquarters.” This latest lease adds to the approximately183,000 square feet that have been leased within the past year alone. It also demonstrates the continued demand for prime office space in centrally located areas.
